2023 Periodic Review of the Grays Harbor County Shoreline Master Program

Grays Harbor County is in the process of performing a periodic review of the Shoreline Master Program (SMP). A comprehensive update to the Shoreline Master Program was completed in 2020. This periodic review is not as involved as the comprehensive update but is required under Washington state law at this time. Local jurisdictions are required to review and update their Shoreline Master Programs every eight years in accordance with the Shoreline Management Act and its current guidelines and legislative rules to attain state approval. Per the State's periodic review timeline, Grays Harbor County needs to complete a periodic review in mid-2023.

Proposed amendments to the County's SMP and supporting documentation can be reviewed below.  Additional information regarding the SMP Periodic Update can be found on the Grays Harbor County Shoreline Master Program Online Open House.
