Marriage Licenses

Both parties may apply in person for their marriage license at the Grays Harbor County Auditor's office during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

Both parties must present a valid photo ID.

If one of the parties cannot appear in person, the other party may take the uncompleted forms to the absent party to be filled out, and signed, in front of a notary public. When the application is returned, the party taking the forms completes their portion in our office. A license can then be issued.

No birth certificates, blood tests, or other documentation are necessary to apply for a marriage license.
