I HAVE A WARRANT OUT FOR MY ARREST.  HOW DO I QUASH IT?

The docket to recall warrants, with a few exceptions, is set for Mondays at 2 p.m.  To get on the docket, contact the clerk at District Court 1 in advance.  Also, make sure to check in at the counter with photo identification before the docket starts.

Find your next court date at courts.wa.gov, contact the clerk at District Court 1, or contact your attorney.

I FORGOT WHO MY COURT-APPOINTED ATTORNEY IS.  HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHO IT IS?
You can either contact the Department of Public Defense, refresh your memory by reviewing these attorney appointment letters, or contact the clerk at District Court 1.  


CAN I APPEAR BY ZOOM?

It depends.  You cannot appear by Zoom for an arraignment or jury confirmation hearing.  For more information and rules on appearing for court via Zoom, click here.


MY DRIVER'S LICENSE IS SUSPENDED.  HOW CAN I GET IT BACK?

Only the Department of Licensing (DOL) can address your driver's license suspension; however, if you have an open Driving While License Suspended case with District Court, the clerk can provide you with a copy of your driving record that includes information that may help you figure out the next steps of the process.  You can find out what those steps are by going to the DOL website.  You also have the option to purchase a copy of your driving record.
