YOU HAVE 30 DAYS TO FILE YOUR RESPONSE WITH THE COURT OR 33 DAYS IF YOU RECEIVED THE INFRACTION IN THE MAIL

For infractions the back of the ticket lists the options you have for responding to the ticket: (1) payment, (2) request a mitigation hearing, or (3) request a contested hearing.  You should put an “x” in the box indicating your response, sign your name, and provide your current mailing address. Your response should be sent or returned to the Grays Harbor County District Court Department 2 located at 2109 Sumner Avenue, Room 201 in Aberdeen, Washington 98520.  You can call the court at (360) 532-7061.  An infraction is not a crime, but failure to respond will result in an additional $52 penalty. 

Grays Harbor County District Court does allow for hearings based on written statements.  The Hearing on Written Statements form and more detailed information is available at the court office or from the court’s website here.
