Zoom Information

Zoom Appearance:  Please note that Zoom appearance is offered as a courtesy by this court. The court does not offer technology assistance or trouble shooting for ANY computer or Zoom concerns. Observers are not permitted via zoom and may appear in person.

Step 1:

Are you allowed to appear by Zoom? Please review the type of allowed remote hearings listed below.

CRIMINAL HEARINGS
-Out-of-Custody Defendants shall appear in-person for all hearings.
-In-custody Defendants will appear via zoom from the jail, except for sentencing, change of plea hearings, and special set hearings such as 3.5/3.6 or motions in limine.
-Defense Counsel may appear via Zoom for pre-trial hearings.

CIVIL & FAMILY LAW HEARINGS
-All participants and attorneys may appear via zoom for motion calendar dockets.
-Zoom is permitted for Summary Judgment Hearings
-All parties shall appear in-person for any trials or testimonial hearings.

PROTECTION ORDER HEARINGS
-Respondents and attorneys shall appear in-person.
-Petitioners have the option to appear via zoom.

THERAPEUTIC COURT HEARINGS
-All hearings are held in-person.

DEPENDENCY HEARINGS
-Dependency Motion Docket will be conducted via Zoom for Parents & DCYF.
-Attorneys shall appear in person for any hearings.
-Shelter Care Hearings will be held in-person only.
-All parties shall appear in-person for any trials or testimonial hearings.

JUVENILE CRIMINAL HEARINGS
-Juveniles shall appear in-person for all hearings
-Attorneys shall appear in-person for all hearings.

, hearing type is permitted, check daily schedule at the top of this page after 5:00 p.m. the day before your hearing for courtroom location. Once you know which courtroom your hearing will be held in, use the Zoom ID links below in step 3. If you appear remotely, it's your responsibility to present original orders for your case no later than 4:30p.m. on the day of the hearing. You may use the Clerk's Office Ex Parte process by using this form found here. Electronic orders will not be accepted.

Judges’ Calendar Docket Rotation

A general list is as follows. Please note this is subject to change without notice. Grays Harbor County does not regularly pre-assign Judges to cases. Case assignments generally happen two weeks before scheduled trials or hearings. You can check with Court Administration to see if an assignment has been made.
