Grays Harbor County Treasurer

2022 property taxes are certified and statements were mailed March 8.  If you have not received your statement, please contact our office at 360-249-3751.
The first half tax amount was due April 30, 2022. If you have not paid, interest has accrued.  Please contact our office for the new amount due.

The Treasurer's office is opened to the public.  Masks are suggested and social distancing must be maintained.  For the safety of all people, we encourage customers to AVOID CASH TRANSACTIONS. Cashier's checks can be obtained at local banks or money orders from the post office.

Taxpayers can pay by phone by following the instructions below.

  Please note: A convenience fee is charged with each online or phone payment.
  Per RCW 36.29.190, the County cannot absorb the cost of electronic payments.
  The convenience fees are assessed and collected by the 3rd party vendor that
  handles the payments.
  Gray Harbor County DOES NOT receive any of these transaction fees.

The county treasurer holds a key position of public trust in the financial affairs of local government. The treasurer is not only the custodian of all county funds but also acts as the "bank" for other units of local government including school, fire, water and local improvement districts.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Collecting property taxes (including foreclosure and distraint actions against delinquent accounts), special assessments, excise taxes, gambling taxes and other miscellaneous receipts

  • Receipting and accounting for all funds and deposits of revenue for the state, county and junior taxing districts

  • Managing the cash flow of the county, and investing money not needed for immediate expenditure for the benefit of the county and junior taxing districts

  • Administering short and long term debt financing

  • Coordinating the provisions of banking services for the county and junior taxing districts
